2013022202-22-2013 : Alaskan requesting average 10% price increase, some up to 30%. Some city pairs no increase. Communicated that PPI indicates increase of only 1.6% for must current period and they requested we rebid. I asked for a three month extension to carry us through rebid process
2013021502-15-2013 : had issued extension request, Alaskan responded they wished a rebid, I responded indicating we have a price escalation clause which we utilized last year, they informed me that Nelson Kabalo is now our contact and would respond by 2/12/13. Emailed Nelson 2/13/13 seeking response.

2012040204-02-2012 : CONTRACT EXTENSION The new contract term went into effect on April 1 2012. The new rates reflecting the 4.6% price increase have been published by Alaska, and are also updated on the contract portal page.
2012030803-08-2012 : CONTRACT EXTENSION This contract will be extended for an additional 1 year term. Alaska/Horizon has been granted a 4.6% price increase on all city pairs, due to a rise in fuel cost. Any travel taking place after April will be charged at the increased rate.
2012020302-03-2012 : CONTRACT EXTENSION I have sent the contract extension offer to Alaska/Horizon Air with a response due date of 2.10.2012.The contract is being extended for another 24 months. At Alaska's request I have added language regarding the use of the contract for student travel. Alaska Horizon will not extend contract pricing to students of colleges, for athletic or any other type of travel.
2012011001-10-2012 : CONTRACT EXTENSION I had a meeting with Matt Visser from Alaska Airlines regarding the upcoming extension and EasyBiz. He stated that Alaska does wish to extend the current contract, however they would like to see clarification regarding what "Official State Business" means. I will be putting the extension together this week.
2011120912-09-2011 : CONTRACT EXTENSION The current term of this contract is set to expire on 3.31.2012. I will be sending out the extension offer to Alaska/Horizon today, offering a 24 month extension.
2011020102-01-2011 : CONTRACT STATUS I contacted an Alaska representative to inquire about the addition of a Seattle to New Orleans route. Alaska does not fly to this particular destination, therefore I am unable to add this city pair to the contract. I have contacted the customers that requested this addition, to let them know we are unable to grant this request.
2010091009-10-2010 : I will be contacting a representative from Alaska Airlines to see if they would be interested in attending a open forum at this years Trade Show on October 28th. The forum will give customers the opportunity to get information on travel contracts that were bid over the last year, which includes the Airfare contract. the open forum will give customers a chance to ask the contractor questions on systems or processes that they may need clarification on.
2010070707-07-2010 : At this time I have not received any requests for the addition of any city pares. The contract seems to be meeting the customers needs.
2010050605-06-2010 : I have not received requests for the addition of any city pares to the contract since Alaska added SEA to LAS. the contract appears to be covering the customers needs at this time.
2010040904-09-2010 : Alaska airlines has offered a price decrease on the SEA to DCA fare and has submitted pricing for SEA to LAS. These changes/additions should be effective by 4/16/2010.
