2014112511-25-2014 : The basic Process Service contract is not meeting the needs of the Attorney General’s office (ATG). Many of their serves are rush, exceptions, or time sensitive. The existing vendors are not geared toward these services under the existing contract. I discussed this issue with Kim Miller (Supervisor of Payable’s - ATG). When the contract does not work and there is firm evidence that the existing vendors can’t provide the service needed, DES would allow the use of other companies to provide service.
2014111911-19-2014 : The end date is now back to the original 6/30/2014. ABC decided they did not want to report for 3rd quarter per and email from Sara Cole at ABC legal.
2014111911-19-2014 : Changed the end date of ABC legal to 11/30/2014 to allow reporting of the usage. Monitoring the vendor with a tickler to ensure end date is changed back to 6/30/2014. Vendor number W25.
2014111711-17-2014 : I have reached out to all parties regarding meetings to resolve any communication issues. Will attempt to do the meetings at the DES building in Olympia. The vendors have agreed to meetings. Holding for Kim Miller at the Attorney General's office.
2014111711-17-2014 : On 11-12-14 I met with Kim Miller and (7) other members of the Attorney General’s office. I listened to their issues (communication problems) with the remaining vendors on the contract (Pacific Coast Attorney Services and Northwest Legal). All were firm that that they liked doing business with ABC legal, yet understood that ABC legal did not choose to sign the contract extension. I advised that I would talk to the remaining vendors and attempt to set up meetings to discuss the communication problems and iron out the issues.
