2015111011-10-2015 : This contract has been extended for 12 months or until a new contract takes effect.
2015072107-21-2015 : DES is preparing to refresh the Armored Car Service contract (#01013), which would allow more vendors to be available as part of the two-tier process. The first tier establishes a prequalified vendor pool. In the second tier, purchasers run their own procurement as identified in a step-by-step User Guide. Your feedback is requested to determine if there are changes that could be made to the current contract to improve its value to the customers. 2014011401-14-2014 : The Armored Car Services contract (#01013) was awarded to Loomis Armored LLC. It takes effect January 1, 2014, replacing contract #06806. This is now a two-tier contract and includes additional enrollment opportunities for vendors to be added to the pre-approved vendor pool beginning January 1, 2014. To allow for a phased implementation to the new contract, contract #06806 with Garda will remain in effect until all customer agencies have transitioned over. Customers need to coordinate with Garda and Loomis to schedule and coordinate their individual implementation plans.
2013110611-06-2013 : As a result of the October 16th prebid, RFQQ due date was exended until November 7, 2013.
2013100910-09-2013 : Draft RFQQ reviewed by peers Steve Jenkins, Melanie Williams and Stuart Sherman. Unit Manager reviewed the final draft and approved release of RFQQ. A total of 151 vendors were electronically notified; incl. 1 Minority Owned, 2 Women Owned, 4 Veteran Owned and 20 Small Business Owned companies. Posted RFQQ to WEBS 10-8-13 with a due date of October 24, 2013.
2013091009-10-2013 : Draft RFQQ to stakeholder group for review.
2013061306-13-2013 : Review of bids revealed in lack of customer location information due to security concerns caused significant discrepancies in bid pricing. After consulting with legal it was determined to be in the best interest to cancel the solicitation and rebid following the 2-tier process. Received signed amendment from Garda agreeing to extend current contract 06806 until replacement contract is awarded and implemented.
2013050905-09-2013 : CONTRACT REBID Posted IFB to WEBS with a due date of May 30, 2013. 144 vendors were electronically notified through WEBS of solicitation. Vendors notified include one Minority Owned, three Women Owned, 4 Veteran Owned and 18 Washington Small Business Owned.
2013050105-01-2013 : CONTRACT REBID Currently working on incorporating comments and suggestions of peer review for replacement contract 01013. Received request from Department of Revenue to include services and equipment that were not on the current contract 06806.
2013031103-11-2013 : CONTRACT REBID Draft IFB under development. Anticipate final draft to be ready for internal peer review the week of March 18th.
2013021102-11-2013 : CONTRACT REBID Contract 06806 is due to expire June 30, 2013 and has to be rebid. Draft IFB is under development and stakeholders offered their expertise and knowledge to serve on the specifications/ evaluation committee. Submitted specifications of current contract to the committee for review and update. We anticipate no break in service.
