2007012601-26-2007 : Amendment has been written to add Belimo Controls as a new manufacturer to this contract. Will fax amendment and amendment letter to RSD Total Controls. After receipt of signed documents, will give to unit manager for approval.
2007010901-09-2007 : Polictical Subdivisions have asked to add a new manufacturer to the existing contract. The manufacturer to add would be for Belimo controls. The current contract does allow for new manufacturers to be added with the contractors agreement. The contractor RSD has agreed. These products do fit into the current scope of work and does not jeopordize the contract. Pricing is consistant with the current pricing sturcture. The pricing for these controls is .36 off the manufacturers list price. Will add this manufacturer to the contract upon unit managers approval.

2006032403-24-2006 : Contract extension with updated CCI posted to web 3/24/2006.
2006032003-20-2006 : Extension acceptance letter received from RSD-Total Control with an additional 1% net 30 discount on all contract manufacturers. Thermal Supply has chosen not extend and will be removed from contract effective March 25, 2006. With the removal of Thermal Supply, RSD-Total Control will offer statewide supply coverage. I anticipate CCI updated and posted to web by March 24, 2006 with no break in coverage. Will need to send confirmation letter to RSD upon completion of extension.
2006020902-09-2006 : This contract has the option of being extended one more year. Usage has been good but I do believe that there maybe opportunities for improvement. Fulfills the need for building materials to include materials that many mainstream suppliers (i.e. Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware) do not carry. However, with regard to small repairs and projects, I anticipate the convenience of having a easily accessible one stop shop such as Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace Hardware would be well received by our clients and could yield both efficiencies and savings. Therefore, I'm hoping to include main stream hardware suppliers in the new contract but my workload will not allow me time to work on this until this time next year. I expect this contract will be extended for the final year and no lapse in coverage is anticipated.
2006020902-09-2006 : All feedback concerning the Refrigeration Parts & Supplies contract suggests that an extension is warranted. However, Thermal Supply would not agree to a contract extension without a price increase. Our other contractor (RSD Total Control) did not request a price increase and their prices are approximately 11% below Thermal Supplies pricing. The original solicitation yielded to responses and RSD Total Control won every region in which they had store outlet. Consequently, Thermal Supply won the South Central Region and the South West Region. As I understand, RSD Total Control now has a store outlet in the South Central Region and may have a new store opening in the South West region of Washington. Consequently, I'm exploring the possibility of expanding RSD's contract coverage to include the South West and South Central region of Washington. No lapse in coverage anticipated.
2006011901-19-2006 : The contractor with the largest Washington State market share (RSD) has expressed a willingness to extend the current contract by signing the extension agreement but our other contractor (Thermal Supply) is still not sure if they will be extending their portion of the contract sighting increased delivery costs. There are a number of options available to the state and I will be exploring them once a get a firm decision from Thermal supply. I expect an answer in the next couple of days.
2006011001-10-2006 : All indicators suggest that this contract be extended. CPE's have been sent out and will be tabulated very soon. I'll be dedicating more time to this contract in the months ahead but I do not anticpate any lapse in contract coverage.
2005121412-14-2005 : I've yet to receive any negative feedback on this contract. Surveys suggest an extension is in order. I've received signed extension letters and I see no reason why this contract should be extended.
2005111511-15-2005 : Customer surveys have been received, tallied and indicate a favorable opinion of the contract. Sales are on target with projections at this juncture, I expect this contract will be extended. More market analysis will be conducted in the months ahead. No lapse in contract coverage is anticipated.
2005101010-10-2005 : CPE's will be sent out this week and an extension letter will be sent to both contractors. To date, all feedback that I've received has been favorable which is reflected in usage reports. At this juncture, I anticipate that the contract will be extended pending favorable CPE feedback.
2004040804-08-2004 : A new Refrigeration Parts & Supplies contract 01304 was awarded to RSD Total Control for the Northwest, Eastern and Olympic regions and Thermal Supply for the Southwest and South-Central regions of Washington. This contract replaces 05897 and the new contract provides access to 47 related manufacturers. Pricing is based on a discount off list and this contract has been designated "Mandatory Use". To find out more please visit http://www.ga.wa.gov/pca/contract/01304c.doc.
2004030503-05-2004 : This contract will replace 05897. The bid closed on February 26th and I'm currently evaluating bids. Workload issues has slowed the evaluation process but I hope to have my recommendation to management on the week of March 8th and I hope the award will be made by the following week. I don't anticipate there will be any protests so a new contract I suspect a new contract will be in place very soon.
