Your agencies are key stakeholders in this service contract with a great deal of usage at your specific locations. I would like to invite you to become members of the Sourcing and Evaluation team for this rebid. If you feel there is another individual at your agency who would be better suited to address the issues regarding this contract please let me know at your earliest convenience. The responsibilities of your role as a sourcing team member would include participation in several one-hour conference calls, evaluation of and input on the current contract and the new draft IFB documents, most specifically the specifications, and assisting in the evaluation of bids if necessary. It is my hope to have this Solicitation posted to WEBS (the State’s electronic registration and notification system – Washington Enterprise Business System) by the end of February or the beginning of March. |

Unfortunately, we used the same naming convention; which is helping to cause the confusion. Each region on this contract is clearly defined by counties, and they are listed under the region. The materials in locations or in bins that are already in-place will be removed and recycled per the previous contract's pricing and terms by the previously-contracted Contractor who placed the bins or who previously serviced those locations. The 30-day window also applies to a newly-awarded Contractor placing bins. Once the initial 30 days is up, the contract terms relating to bin placement are in full effect. |
