06-14-2011 : | The Office of State Procurement is working with a sourcing team comprised of purchasing professionals from other states in the development of this contract. A draft IFB has been created and is currently under review by the sourcing team. The sourcing team is scheduled to hold a tele-conference in late June to further discuss and continue the development of the bid. The Contract Specialist does not anticipate any lapse in contract coverage. | |

05-03-2011 : | The Office of State procurement has been working with the Washington Traffic Safety Commission, Washington State Patrol and other local police agencies in preparation for a rebid of contract 11504 Radar, Traffic and parts. For this solicitation, Washington will be the lead state in developing a multi-state contract for the purchase of Police Radar, Lidar, Parts and Equipment on behalf of the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA). In addition to the local stakeholders, the Contract Specialist has been working with a Sourcing Team comprised of purchasing professionals from other WSCA states. The sourcing team is scheduled to meet in May to discuss this project and continue in the development of the contracting approach and solicitation document. The Contract Specialist does not anticipate any lapse in contract coverage. |
