2018060606-06-2018 : 01018 is the new contract number and will be effective July 1, 2018.
2018042504-25-2018 : 34 bids were received in the rebid and 13 were awarded. WA is waiting for the contracts to be signed before starting our PA's.
2018032703-27-2018 : Oregon has finished the bid for the new MRO contract. The new contract number is 01018. 16 vendors were awarded and we are now looking to see which vendors Washington will do a PA with.
2017091109-11-2017 : The state of Oregon will be rebidding this contract. The process has started at this time.
2017052205-22-2017 : DES has received a rebate from Grainger based on annual online sales. The following was sent out on the DES bi-weekly broadcast: DES distributes rebate from Grainger: Under master contract 01711, NASPO Facilities MRO, the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) received a 1 percent e-commerce incentive rebate totaling $86.313.30 from Grainger for purchases completed online from March 1, 2016 to February 28, 2017. Washington customers had over 60% of sales purchased online which met Grainger’s minimum requirement of 50%. The rebate payment was proportionate to the organization’s spend volume, which was provided by Grainger. DES distributed the rebates to customers that participated with $20 as the lowest dollar disbursement amount. The disbursements went out towards the end of May. 2017031703-17-2017 : DES has sent out extension and VMF change amendments to all 3 vendors on this contract. The extension will take the contract out to June 30, 2018. In regards to the rebid of this contract, NASPO has sent out the following message: The State of Nevada and a fine sourcing team conducted a procurement process to award new contracts to replace the existing Facilities MRO master agreements. As Nevada was finalizing and preparing to announce the new contract awards, they unfortunately discovered that there were problems in the procurement process and errors in the evaluation that necessitate the procurement process be cancelled and a new process be initiated. The new procurement process will be happening between now and the end of 2017.
2017021502-15-2017 : DES has received back the extension amendment from MSC Industrial.
2017020702-07-2017 : DES has sent out extension amendments to Fastenal, Grainger, and MSC Industrial, extending the existing contract until the end of June 2017. At this time, we have received amendments back from Fastenal and Grainger.
2017011901-19-2017 : Nevada, the lead state, will be extending the existing contracts through June 30,2017 to give them time to get the master contracts signed. DES will be working on extensions for all 3 vendors on this contract.
2016041504-15-2016 : Received Amendment 7 back from MSC.
2016033103-31-2016 : Received back Amendment 7 from Fastenal and Grainger on 3/25/16.
2016032303-23-2016 : Sent Amendment 7 to Grainger, MSC, and Fastenal for zero reporting.
2015122912-29-2015 : CONTRACT STATUS For Vehicle Charging Stations currently available through State Contract; go to Pricing & Ordering Information on the DES Contract Portal page for 01711. Next, under Grainger Inc., click on the Grainger CCI and Pricing Discounts icon. Next, under Contractor Information click on the WEB catalog address for Grainger. Using the search feature at the top of the Grainger website enter “vehicle charging station” and click the search button. You should receive a number of search results.
2015092909-29-2015 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS Contract extended with all three vendors until the Max Term date of Feb. 28, 2017.
2015082108-21-2015 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS Sent out Biweekly bulletin requesting feedback for extension: The NASPO ValuePoint (formerly WSCA-NASPO) Facilities MRO master contract #01711, also referred to as the industrial supplies and equipment contract, is scheduled to expire Feb. 28, 2016. DES is seeking customer feedback by Sept. 18 using the online Vendor and Contract Performance Feedback form. DES is considering extending the contract for one year. 2015031903-19-2015 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS RECAP: DES has extended the contract with all three contractors: Grainger, Fastenal, and MSC. The contract is extended through 2/28/2016. DES has also executed a new management fee amendment lowering the management fee to .074% with all three contractors.
2015031603-16-2015 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS SHORT TERM EXTENSION: The contract with MSC was extended through 3/30/2015.
2015022302-23-2015 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS PARTIAL EXTENSION: DES has extended the contract with 2 of 3 contractors and is negotiating with the third. The PCMS/Portal page will be updated to show a new end date of 2/28/2016 but this only applies to Grainger and Fastenal. The PCMS system cannot distinguish differences between the three. Currently the contract with MSC ends on 2/28/2015 but DES may allow a short term 30-day extension to have additional time to negotiate. If negotiations are unsuccessful MSC will be removed from the portal page.
2015021102-11-2015 : CONTRACT CHANGE DES has executed a management fee amendment of .74 percent with Grainger and Fastenal with an effective date of April 1, 2015. DES is awaiting MSC’s amendment.
2015021102-11-2015 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS DES has extended the 01711 contract with Grainger and Fastenal February 28, 2015. DES is awaiting MSC’s amendment. The PCMS system cannot segment dates by contractor. I will update the PCMS system to show that the contract is extended through 2/28/2016 which is only true for Grainger and Fastenal at this time.

2014042404-24-2014 : CONTRACT STATUS Updated account set up information has been posted to the Portal Page for Fastenal and MSC.
2014033103-31-2014 : CONTRACT CHANGE Effective 04/01/2014 Fastenal and MSC will be available for account set up and purchase on contract 01711, WSCA Facilities MRO. A new Current Contract Information page has been added for all 3 vendors to assist customers with contact information and pricing.
2014032503-25-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS DES has signed participating addendums with Grainger and Fastenal. New contract term will be 4/1/2014 to 2/28/2015. MSC is also expected to sign by the end of this week.
2014021802-18-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION Grainger Inc. has been given a short term extension on Contract 01711, WSCA Facilities MRO. The Contract extension will be good through3/31/2014 in which time DES will sign new participating addendums with all 3 awarded vendors.
2014011301-13-2014 : CONTRACT CHANGE The Department of Enterprise Services is working with the other two contractors that were awarded under the WSCA contract #W5-2011 on potentially coming on to contract 01711. The purpose for this move is to add greater depth in not only product selection but service options for the States customer base in daily MRO operations but in emergency situations as well. 2013120512-05-2013 : CONTRACT EXTENSION Department of Enterprise Services has received positive feedback on contract 01711, Facilities MRO and plans to extend with Grainger for an additional Two (2) years. Will met with Grainger representatives on 12/20/2013 to discuss and get the process started for extending the contract.
2013101110-11-2013 : CONTRACT STATUS Received request from DSHS wanting a printed report of all line items purchased (and quantities) for Fircrest School. Chrissy Carlson is currently running the report and will respond directly back DSHS.
2013091109-11-2013 : CONTRACT STATUS Meet with Chrissy Carlson about contract activity. She also wanted the status of non-green janitorial products.
2011051105-11-2011 : CONTRACT STATUS WSCA has awarded three "universal" contracts for Industrial Supplies. The contract, 11305, with Grainger has been extended until the end of July to allow time for negotiations with the new WSCA contractor.
