2005021502-15-2005 : Contract 02199 has expired 2-14-05. The replacement contract is 17304. The signs available on 17304 are slightly different then the ones that were on 02199 (see contract that is posted on the net for exact specifications). The awarded vendor is still Pacific Safety Supply. Language in the IFB does allow for OSP to add replacement parts for existing inventory. OSP is anticipating acting on this language to add components to the contract, which would benefit DOT's existing inventory, within a month.
2005021002-10-2005 : Contract 02199 is subject to expire on 2-14-05. Contract 17304 should be in place by this date to replace this existing contract. OSP recommends purchasing any orders that need to be expedited by 2-14-05 to ensure no laps in inventory.

2005010701-07-2005 : Contract 02199 is ending the maximum six year term on 2-14-05. This contract may not be extended. This is considered a critical contract for our agencies. There is no anticipated laps in contract coverage. If it is determined that the re-bid will not be complete with sufficient time to implement possible changes, the current contract may be extended for an additional 2 months. Please purchase any needed signs prior to the contract expiring to ensure proper inventory levels. The new bid document has been released, pre-bid is January 14th and the bid opening is January 27th.
2004120612-06-2004 : Contract 02199 is ending the maximum six year term on 2-14-05. This contract can not be extended. This is considered a critical contract for our agencies. There is no anticipated laps in contract coverage. The bid document is in its final draft and is anticipated to be released in mid December. Award is anticipated to be made in mid January, effective February 15, 2005.

Office of State Procurement is seeking specifications and performance input that agencies would like to see incorporated in a new contract. There is no anticipated laps in contract coverage. The bid document will need to be completed and released by January 1, 2005, so OSP is asking for input to be provided by November 30, 2004. 2003011401-14-2003 : Extending contract 12 additional months, requested additional items to contract and a price reduction. WSDOT is currently evaluating the additional items.
