| 09-01-2015 : | CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS | The reason for this extension is the initial term of this Contract is two (2) years from date of award and will end on 10/31/2015. This will be the first option year to extend the current contract with 3 additional years left until a rebid is needed. Extensions were emailed out to all current vendors on 8/10/2015 with a return dare of 08/25/2015. All Contractors have agreed to the extension except for Summit Environmental Technologies who failed to respond to the extension. The new extension will begin on 11/01/2015 and will end on 10/31/2016. |

| 06-19-2015 : | A vendor has been added, and two vendors have been removed, as part of a refresh for Contract 02413 Analytical Laboratory Services. This is a two-tier contract that allows direct purchases with qualified vendors for purchases under $10,000 and also allows for a second-tier competitive solicitation for larger purchases. The new vendor is Atmospheric Analysis and Consulting, Inc. BSK Associates has purchased Addy Lab, LLC and Pace Analytical Services, Inc. has purchased Kiff Analytical LLC. Addy Lab and Kiff will be removed from the contract, while BSK and Pace assume all of their rights and responsibilities. Additionally, documents on the website have been refreshed to allow for easier use. The Contract and Amendments tab now shows information relating to the status of the current contract and the Pricing and Ordering Page has been simplified and updated with the changes noted above. For Tier II (only), Fremont Analytical Inc., Seattle, WA and BSK Associates, Fresno, CA. (note: BSK has been previously awarded for Tier I consideration.) The Solicitation will be an RFQQ for the purposes of establishing a pre-qualified Bidder pool, from which agencies may perform a "rapid response" procurement, or conduct their own second tier competitive process. In the second tier process, agencies may create their own scope of work and apply their own special terms and conditions. An outreach effort has been made to contact all labs accredited by the Washington State Department of Ecology so the State expects a qualified vendor pool of 200 or more accredited participating laboratories.
