2020111611-16-2020 : Contracts have been sent to vendors for signature. Effective date of new contract (01120) is 12/1/2020.
2020102310-23-2020 : Have completed the second ASB announcement after re-evaluating. There has been no change in the ASB's from before, they are Financial Asset Management Systems (FAMS), Automated Accounts, and PMT Solutions.
2020032403-24-2020 : This contract has been extended until 5/30/2020 in order to do more research for the new contract, 01120. Two vendors have signed extension amendments, AllianceOne and Financial Asset Mgmt Systems..
2019081408-14-2019 : Two Master Contracts expiring and we need your help! DES is asking for stakeholders for a rebid on contract 02912 – Debt Collection Services, which expires 2/29/2020, and contract 05913 – Financial and Auditing Services, which expires 2/1/2020. Due to the fast approaching end dates, DES needs your feedback on what is and is not working with the existing contract(s) in order to create a world-class procurement going forward that all Washington state governmental entities can use. 2018042304-23-2018 : CONTRACT TERMINATION Collection Technology, Incorporated (CTI) a vendor on master contract #02912 for debt collections services is closing its doors after 60+ years in the debt collection services. Service agreements with CTI under master contract #02912 may not begin after June 30, 2018; the termination date of CTI’s contract. CTI has worked with their Washington State customers to close out any business under this contract. If you believe you have outstanding work with CTI under master contract #02912 please contact DES immediately. Customers still have their choice of 3 vendors for debt collection services under this master contract. 2014091209-12-2014 : Micheal Maverick continues to work with Renee Linnabary regarding the (SAAG) requirement. Via email Michael has advised that we can not remove the requirement.
2014082508-25-2014 : CONTRACTS SPECIALIST CHANGE: Scott Schumacher can be reached at scott.schumacher@des.wa.gov or 360-407-8527. CCI has been updated with contract administrator information.
2014082508-25-2014 : Michael Maverick has responded to Alliance One (Renee Linnabary) with direction from our Assistant Attorney General. All debt collection must be in the name of Alliance One. In addition, Alliance One only needs to have the SAAG (Special Assistant Attorney General) requirement if they are bringing action in the name of the state. On 8/21/2014 a conference call followed with Renee and the Alliance One staff to discuss this issue. A follow up meeting is scheduled for 9/18/2014.
2014081508-15-2014 : Added Conserve to the contract. Sent copies of the amendment to Jeanne Stratton.
2014081308-13-2014 : Recieved notification from Alliance One requesting that SAAG Certification be reinstated to contract effective immediately. Reveiwed RFP, discussed with Marci Disken and Michael Maverick who are understanding that it is not a requirement. However, Michael will pursue AAG opinion and advise us accordingly.
2014080508-05-2014 : Conserve got ahold of Bart Potter and indicated wish to extend, so I resent the Amendment for signature. We need to update contact information.
2014072107-21-2014 : posted updated CCI to portal page, removed Conserve
2014070807-08-2014 : still no response from Conserve. Usage reports indicate that they reported sales of approx. $2600 for years 2013 and 2014.
2014061306-13-2014 : Have received positive responses from all contractors with the exception of Conserve, followed up today
2014052705-27-2014 : Sent all four contractors an Amendment for a two year extension for the period 08/21/14 through 08/20/16
2014041804-18-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS AllianceOne has accepted the offer for a term extension through 08/20/2014. Extension amendment was signed by both parties and executed with an effective of 4/21/2014.
2014041104-11-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS AllianceOne current term end 4/20/2014 however an extension was offered to them through 08/20/2014. Waiting for response from AllianceOne for execution.
2014020402-04-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION Contract 02912 current term ends February 20, 2014. Extensions were executed with Continental Service Group, Inc., Collection Technology, Inc. and Financial Asset Mgmt Systems, Inc. (FAMS) through August 20th, 2014. 2014011501-15-2014 : CONTRACT CHANGE Recently DES and AllianceOne negotiated a contract amendment that added a subcontracting component with PMT Solutions, a certified minority and women owned business. The amendment also added the Procurement Reform management fee to the contract. Both actions resulted in an agreed upon rate increase of 2.74% and will have no effect on placement recovery to the customer. If you have any questions please contact Michael Maverick at michael.maverick@des.wa.gov. Of the 2.74 fee .74 is for the mng fee and the remaining is a price adjustment. The mng fee amendment fee begins of 1/15/14 and it only applies to new accounts after that date (per amendment #1, executed 1/2/14 with AllianceOne). The vendor is required to input sales on all monies collected but the mng fee only applies to new accounts.
2012092609-26-2012 : NEW CONTRACT State Contract 02912 has been awarded to four vendors in two categories. Awarded vendors in Category 1 (general, legal and educational debt): Alliance One, Collection Technology Inc., ConServe and Financial Asset Management Systems Inc. Awarded vendor in Category 2 (electronic data interface):ConServe.
2012051005-10-2012 : Prebid conference was held May 8. The solicitation coordinator is working on a Q&A of issues raised at the prebid and gathering information for possible amendment(s) of the solicitation.
2012050105-01-2012 : The Request for Proposal (RFP) was posted to WEBS on April 26, 2012. A prebid conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. May 8 in Room 2208 of the Department of Enterprise Services, 1500 Jefferson St., Olympia. Proposals will be due at 2 p.m. May 22.
2012041104-11-2012 : CONTRACT REBID Solicitation 02912 is the rebid of State Contract 06909 for debt-collection services. The rebid solicitation was formerly numbered 04911.
