-Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP (awarded categories 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)
-Justice Systems Corporation (awarded categories 12, 13, 14, 15
-Systems Engineering Inc. (awarded categories 12, 13, 14)
The PAs are currently in review, and the contracts page will be updated once executed. This decision was largely based on feedback we received from customers and we thank everyone who reached out during this time.
03115 Fire Protection and Suppression System Services
-DES will be amending statewide contract 03115 an extension of six (6) months to January 30, 2024, while new PAs are being signed
03017 Security Alarm Technology Services
-We do anticipate a short gap in coverage with this contract, as it has met its max term date and there is no opportunity to extend. DES will prioritize and expedite signing of Participating Addendums with awarded vendors
-Customers are encouraged to place orders before July 30, and reference section 13(h) of the Master Agreement, stating “Orders must be placed pursuant to this Master Agreement prior to the termination date thereof, but may have a delivery date or performance period up to 120 past the then-current termination date of this Master Contract.”

PRICE ADJUSTMENT |
Contractors who have agreed to a pricing methodology change will be receiving a price increase based on Labor and Industries prevailing wage rates that are updated twice a year. This change best reflects the wages set for each county. Please note that Labor and Industries updates prevailing wages February and August of each year and the new rates are expected to be effective one month later. For a current list of prevailing wage rates for this contract please refer to the Labor and Industries site and search labor categories Electronic Technician (associated with Fire Alarm Services) and Sprinkler Fitter (associated with Fire Sprinkler/Suppression Services) then add the listed percent markup based on the contractor services are provided by.
Example: PW + XXX%
For Category A, the prevailing wage rates will be averaged for an annual percent increase. This increase will be allowed annually.
For convenience, DES will be posting a customer price sheet with the updated pricing expected to be effective July 15, 2022.
