PRICE ADJUSTMENT |
Authorized a price adjustment for Clark Security Products Inc. affecting the discount off of list for various products offered on State Contract 04010. This request was the result the vendors Original Equipment manufacture’s (OEM’s) decision to restructure their pricing and go to a single discount structure within the different brands. In addition, they also lowered many of the list prices on their products and changed the discounts to their distributors accordingly. The effect that this change had on Clark Securities pricing to the State of Washington is significant since the contract is set up with a percentage discount off manufacturer’s list price. After this restructure many of Clark’s current prices are set well below their own their own cost |

Received phone call from state agency (DSHS Western State Hospital) pointing out to me that the "Pricing and Ordering Information" document posted on our website for this contract (04010p document) did not address the issue of freight charges. I modified this document to show freight charges were to be FOB Destination for orders valued at $200.00 or more and were to be FOB Origin for orders valued at less than $200.00. This change is consistent with the contract regarding freight charges. |
