07-08-2016 : | NEW CONTRACT | Community Liaisons; The contract for light and medium-duty, cutaway buses has finally been awarded and will be available for orders on July 11th, 2016. Contracts have been issued and signed by the vendors. The DES website is being updated, however, it may take a while before all the information will be listed. Therefore, grantees will have to contact the vendors they are interested in to get price quotes and floor plans directly from the distributors. The awarded distributors are: Creative Bus Sales (Formerly EK Coaches): Arboc, Diamond, Elkhart, Glaval, Goshen, and Startrans Harlow Bus Sales: Metro Link NW Bus Sales: StarCraft Schetky NW: Champion, Collins, Eldorado Please let all your grantees know the contract is available. |
05-27-2015 : | CONTRACT REBID STATUS | Contract 06209 for the as needed purchase of light to medium duty buses (cut-a-way) is nearing its termination date. The State of Washington is in development of a solicitation for a replacement contract. The current contract 06209 will be extended to 12/31/2015 or until a replacement contract is implemented, whichever occurs first in time.
