2025033103-31-2025 : All contracts has been successfully amended to extend contract to its final date, ending on March 31, 2026. Contracts that are extended are as followed, New Flyer, MCI, BYD, Gillig, Model 1, NW Bus sales, Schetky NW, Alexander Dennis, and Complete Coach Works.
2024040404-04-2024 : Amendment for extension has been completed for Gillig, BYD, NW Bus Sales, Schetky, Alexander Dennis and Complete Coach Works. Awaiting two contractors for signature, New Flyer and Model 1. Phoenix Motors that has aquired Proterra is in the process of an Assignment and Assumption.
2023040304-03-2023 : BYD and Proterra did not extend contract - Proterra was able to extend deadline. 4/7/2023
2022091909-19-2022 : CONTRACT TERMINATION Alliance Bus was entirely bought out by Creative Bus Sales, who does not wish to continue Alliance's Contract, Alliances Mutual Termination was approved and signed
2020030403-04-2020 : Solicitation 06719 was posted to WEBS on March 4, 2020 with a closing date of May 4, 2020. Questions should be directed to the Procurement Coordinator at buspurchases@des.wa.gov.
