| 01-03-2008 : | I received a request from Washington School for the Deaf (WSD) today to update the stop times for North Route 1 and North Route 2. They have been monitoring the actual times and have submitted the accurate times to update the contract. There are currently some stops that are not being used, but they need to leave them in because they may need to be activated in the event of increased student population. The vendor should never charge extra if the stops are activated, because they bid the contract with these stops included. These changes are effective 01/03/08. | |

| 03-06-2007 : | We are having a meeting today, March 6, 2007 with the schools to discuss issues before we decide whether to extend or re-bid the current contract. Issues will be addressed with each respective school before the extend decision is made. | |
| 01-18-2007 : | Wickkiser was late on Friday due to the inclement weather. The buses would not start. They had to call a tow truck, and it took 45 minutes because of all the weather. They immediately notified WSD that they were going to be late. When the tow truck got there, they could only start the bus in the back, and when they tried to move the front bus, it had a problem with the air brakes. They notified WSD that their original time they indicated they would arrive at the school would be later, they school had to inform the parents again of the time change. These communications are very time consuming and frustrating for the school. I phoned Wickkiser and they explained that very often the parents are late picking up the students, and that makes the route late also. We had all agreed to have a monthly meeting to address issues, and will be going back to the monthly teleconference beginning January 23, 2007. | |

| 12-12-2006 : | It appears the initial adjustment period for a new vendor is working well. I have received no complaints regarding Wickkisers performance, and they are very open to any updates or changes that the schools request. A & A Motorcoah has finally begun to send drive documents as requested. I have contacted both vendors to remind them of their contractual responsibility to provide their WSP backgroung information as soon as they receive it. All drivers have been submitted to the fingerprinting. | |
| 09-13-2006 : | Per customer request, a stop in Kelso at Three Rivers Mall was added. There will be no additional charge for this stop. | |
