| 03-09-2018 : | CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS | The Mobile Computing Solutions Contract 08313 was extended for another term ending April 9, 2019 with both Portable Computer Systems, Inc. and Nova Mobile Systems, Inc. With this being the final contract extension available, DES anticipates starting the review for the rebid or other options the beginning of second quarter 2018. | 03-08-2018 : | CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS | January 2018, a survey was sent to customers asking for feedback on Vendor and contract performance. I am pleased to report that all responses and feedback were positive and in favor of an extension of the contract. March 8th, 2018, a twelve (12) month extension was offered to both awarded vendors Portable Computer Systems, Inc. and Nova Mobile Systems, Inc. Both vendors were also informed that this the final extension of this contract. In the next year, we will be working on evaluating and analyzing the contract along with the market for a potential rebid or other possible options that may be best for the State’s needs. |

The amendment that extended the contract term with both Nova Mobile Systems and Portable Computer Systems, Inc. included an increase of the Management Fee to 1.5% with no increase of vendor's pricing at this time. | 03-16-2017 : | CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUS | The Mobile Computing Solutions Contract 08313 was due to expire April 9, 2017. DES has received positive feedback from customers that was in favor of a contract extension and has completed the contract review process. DES also wants to thank those customers who took the time to fill out the Vendor Performance Report and provided crucial feedback. Contract 08313 has been extended for one year with both Nova Mobile Systems and Portable Computer Systems, Inc. with terms ending April 9, 2018.
