Also advised that it was imperative for the hiring agency to process payment to the carrier, so the carrier could enter into damage/loss negotiations and provide a settlement offer. | |

Please submit move requests to the carrier at least three (3) weeks prior to anticipated move date. The end of June and early July is especially busy for the carriers. 08-24-2004 : | An intent to award has been sent to all vendors. The intent of the IFB is to award to Wheaton Van Lines, Inc. The formal award has not been issued, but is anticipated to be issued on 8-27-04. The effective date of this contract will be September 1, 2004. Beginning on the effective date of the contract all relocation requests will need to be directed to the carrier, NOT OSP. All purchase orders/field orders, will be addressed to the awarded van line and all invoicing will come directly from the awarded van line to the agency, NOT OSP. The method in which interstate relocations are to be assigned is exactly like the method currently being used in contract 03504, Intrastate Relocations. Training is available to any agency that would like to know how to better utilize the contract. Please contact OSP for training opportunities. |
