10-04-2012 : | CONTRACT STATUS | The MMCAP website will be unavailable from 9:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, October 5, until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012, due to electrical upgrades. We have done the following to minimize the impact on MMCAP website users: • Worked with our catalog vendor to allow users to access the catalog portion of the website (www.mmcap.org) for pricing and product information • Arranged for the service interruption on the remainder of the website to be over the weekend only, which is typically a low usage period Everything should be back up and running before start of business on Monday. |
07-27-2012 : | PRICE ADJUSTMENT | Several members contacted MMCAP in regard to significantly increased pricing ($56 or more) on Eli Lilly’s Humulin and Humalog. Eli Lilly informed MMCAP today that there was an error in its system that caused MMCAP’s pricing to default to WAC instead of the contracted price on July 11, 2012. This error affects MMCAP members using all three contracted wholesalers (AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal, and Morris & Dickson). Eli Lilly apologizes for the error and the inconvenience caused to MMCAP members. All members that were erroneously charged WAC instead of the MMCAP contract price for Humulin and Humalog will be receiving credits and rebills through their wholesalers. 11-01-2011 : | CONTRACT EXTENSION | MMCAP has executed Amendment #8 to Cardinal Health.Their contract has been extended for 24 months (10/31/11 through 10/31/13) and includes an administrative fee increase from 0.25% to 0.32%. CA adjusted the start dates in PCMS and CCI to reflect the true onset of the original contract. |
09-30-2011 : | CONTRACT STATUS | There is a strong likelihood that MMCAP’s contract with Eisai will expire effective October 1, 2011. MMCAP has asked for an extension, but Eisai is still considering this request. MMCAP’s contract with Eisai is currently for the following products: Aciphex, Aloxi, Aricept, Dacogen, Fragmin, Hexalen, Lusedra, and Salagen. If the contract did lapse, it is MMCAP’s expectation that a new contract would be in place on November 1, 2011. |
06-08-2011 : | CONTRACT STATUS | The FY2010 Shareback Credit dollars have been received by the wholesalers (PPV’s) and are currently being distributed to member accounts. MMCAP has already heard back from several members stating that they have received the credit for FY2010. An Excel Spreadsheet is posted on the MMCAP Website (State Contact area) for review. The spreadsheet details information by state, distributor and facility account. 12-02-2009 : | TRANSITION PERIOD For MMCAP members currently using Cardinal that will be continuing with Cardinal, the transition to the terms of the new agreement will occur on 1/1/2010. For MMCAP members that are currently using another MMCAP-contracted PPV that have selected Cardinal as their new PPV, the transition to Cardinal will occur no later than 3/1/2010. A representative from Cardinal will be contacting you shortly to begin the transition process. TRAINING SESSIONS MMCAP will be scheduling new agreement training sessions in the next few weeks to acquaint you with the new Cardinal agreement and to answer your questions. The new agreement has been posted on MMCAP’s website so that you can review it prior to the training sessions.
