2006071407-14-2006 : Updated Contracts Specialist and Assistant.
2006011901-19-2006 : The Air Filter contract has been extended an additional 24 months.
2006011001-10-2006 : All indicators suggest that a contract extension is warranted and I'm finalizing the paperwork needed to extend the contract an additional two years. No lapse in coverage is expected.
2005121412-14-2005 : AAF brought back the previous contract administrator who has considerable institutional knowledge as well as AAF product knowledge. As I understand AAF is also committed to bringing on board an additional sales representative who will be dedicated to state contract business. I've never received any complaints concerning product quality but there have been some reports of order fulfillment problems. I've asked AAF to provide a resolution which I will take under consideration before the contract has been extended. At this juncture I plan on extending the contract but I'm unsure of how long of an extension this will be. If I'm satisfied that AAF is commited and capable of resolving the reported order fulfillment problems I may extend the contract for 24 months as originally planned.
2005111511-15-2005 : The contract administrator responsible for servicing Washington has left American Air Filter for another position and therefore there has been a temporary lapse in sales coverage. As I understand, the contractor will be bringing back the former contract administrator this week and will be hiring another sales representative to service Washington State contract users. Customer surveys suggest that the merchandise is acceptable but customer service needs improvement. I'm working with the contractor to improve customer service and the regional account manager is making positive steps to resolve and improve customer relations and order fulfillment. I do not expect a lapse in contract coverage but I may not extend the contract for the full term until I'm satisfied that customers will receive the quality of customer service that is expected.
2005101010-10-2005 : The contractor has agreed to a contract extension. CPE's have been collected and all reflect a favorable opinion of the contractor's performance. I will be preparing the extension paperwork in the weeks ahead. No lapse in coverage is anticipated.
2005092009-20-2005 : The first draft of the Smartbuying Fuel has been completed and reviewed by management. I'll be meeting with the fuel team to capture their feedback and I anticipate that the bid will be ready for release in the next couple of weeks. I'll be doing some market research in the weeks ahead and if customer feedback and market research is favorable I expect that the contract will be extended. No contract lapse anticipated.
2004110811-08-2004 : The Contract has been updated to reflect the discontinuance of a contract filter and to incorporate the new replacement filter. Also, in accordance with contract terms AAF will be offering product training sessions and has tentatively proposed product training dates of January 11, and January 17, 2005. Lastly, the previous contract representative Gary Welch has left AAF and Kath Jackson is his replacement.
2004070207-02-2004 : It was discovered that the certificate of insurance supplied by AAF did not identify fire Damage Limit as contract terms dictate. I requested that AAF make sure that this coverage is included and I've since verified that the most current certificate of insurance complies with contract terms.
2004011401-14-2004 : Air Filter Contract has been awarded to American Air Filter Intl. and became active 1/14/04.
