Contract Description/Scope
This contract provides for the purchase of bulk snow and ice control products (Rock Salt, Brine Salt, Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, and etc.) with 3 day, 7 day, or 30 day delivery.

80/120’s and Prioritization: Purchasers may file target volume commitments by August 31st annually with the Department of Enterprise Services to preserve the contract rate and receive prioritization for delivery in times of limited supply. This commitment requires agencies to purchase 80% of the volume stated, and in turn, the vendor must provide up to 120% of the volume stated exclusively to your agency.
Filing this 80%/120% commitment will grant your agency the following benefits:

• Preserve the contract rate for purchases over 100 tons annually, up to your 120% commitment.
• Shared priority with WSDOT for normal deliveries.
• Higher priority than other non-committed agencies for emergency deliveries.
• Ensures that your agency will have a reserved supply of product available to your agency.

Diesel Fuel Surcharge: A Diesel Fuel Surcharge/Credit [DFS/DFC] will be applied at time of delivery.
