This is a statewide Contract for the salvage, removal and disposal of derelict vessels in public owned waters and on public owned property. This Contract was developed in conjunction with the Department of Natural Resources Derelict Vessel Removal Program (DVRP).

Segment B of the Contract will be for Non-emergency removals of vessels which may include planned recovery actions where custody of the vessel was obtained prior to removal. This may involve towing, salvage, and delivery to haul out location. Recovery may include patching, raising, pumping, dive support, gear removal, land transport and storage. Vessel demolition including testing and abatement of all hazardous materials may also be included. Segment B will be divided into two (2) Categories, lower risk and higher risk/more complex removals. Segment B utilized a Two Tier process and Tier II can be accessed by sending a Work Request Form to DES.
