Parks and Recreation Equipment and Related Services
Contract Description/Scope
This is a NASPO ValuePoint contract led by the state of Oregon to provide parks and recreation equipment, playground equipment, and related services. To date, Washington has just one participating agreement in place, but additional agreements with nine other Contractors will be put in place during September. Customers will have the option of utilizing any of these ten awarded vendors to meet their needs. Please note that pricing and availability of products varies between vendors. Customers should research and utilize the contractor that best meets their needs.
Cooperative Contract: This contract is an authorized cooperative contract originally conducted by another state, for more information about the overarching contract, please see the following link: NASPO Parks and Recreation Equipment and Installation.
Contract Scope The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services, through participation with NASPO ValuePoint, has established one participating agreement to date for a wide range of Parks and Recreation Equipment. Nine additional participating agreements are in process.

Restrictions:This contract is established under RCW 39.26 and complies with RCW 39.12 for prevailing wage requirements as applicable to ordinary maintenance services. It is not intended to meet the requirements of RCW 39.04, RCW 39.80 and RCW 18.43 for public works and engineering services. All purchasers must follow their particular jurisdiction’s laws, rules, and expectations for projects that may include any public works elements.
The DES Facility Professional Services (FPS) team provides state agencies with a wide range of professional architectural, engineering and public works contracting services. For information about DES FPS programs, please visit their website or contact them at EASMail@des.wa.gov.
