Contract Scope
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tools in a way that minimizes economic, health, and environmental risks.

This statewide contract will provide eligible purchasers with IPM services including; prevention, monitoring, assessing pest population density, treatment, and evaluation of the effectiveness of treatments. These services have been broken down into the following five (5) categories:

Category 1: Weed Control, Including Ornamental and Noxious Weed Control: managing weed populations while reducing the reliance of chemical herbicides.
Category 2: Insect and Rodents in and Around Structures: removal, control, and management of a wide variety of species such as bugs, mice, and rats in and around structures.
Category 3: Nuisance Wildlife Control: trap, capture, and remove small game or unclassified wildlife such as raccoons, opossums, skunks, nutria, and certain other wildlife that cause damage or conflict with human activities.
Category 4: Aquatic Pest Control: managing pests and unwanted organisms in aquatic environments such as lakes, ponds, rivers, marine environments, and other water bodies.
Category 5: Bird Control: manage birds that cause damage or conflict with human activities in an environmentally sensitive manner.
