Important Fare Information
Alaska Airlines contract pricing is now based on percentage-based discounts rather than fixed contract fares. As a result, airfare will vary based on the available market fare at the time of booking, and purchasers may see prices that differ from the fixed fares previously available under this contract.

DES is aware of these pricing differences and encourages purchasers to book travel as far in advance as possible to help secure the best available fare.

Contract Scope
This Statewide Contract provides eligible purchasers with discounted refundable and nonrefundable airfare for authorized government travel, including eligible domestic and international travel.
Purchasers are responsible for arranging their own travel, selecting the fare type that best meets their business needs, and ensuring travel purchases comply with RCW 39.26, the Statewide Administrative and Accounting Manual (SAAM), and all applicable DES procurement-related policies and procedures.

Contract Pricing and Benefits
The Alaska Airlines Statewide Contract provides percentage-based discounts on eligible airfare. Contract benefits include:
- Discounts on eligible refundable and nonrefundable airfare.
- Discounts on eligible domestic and international airfare.
- Contract discounts for eligible minor travelers.
Purchasers should refer to the current Pricing and Ordering document for applicable discounts and additional pricing information.

How to Use This Contract
To access State of Washington contract discounts with Alaska Airlines:
Enroll in Atmos for Business.
1. Organizations must have an active Atmos for Business account to access Statewide Contract discounts.
2. Activate State of Washington contract pricing. Contact Alaska Airlines and provide your organization's Atmos for Business account name and account number to request access to State of Washington contract discounts.
3. Book eligible travel. Once activated, purchasers may book eligible airfare through Atmos for Business and select the refundable or nonrefundable fare that best meets their organization's travel needs.
