The purpose of this Statewide Contract is to enable eligible purchasers to purchase ADA Compliant Vans, Minivans, & Specialty Vehicles (i.e., ADA Walk-In Step Vans) that are categorized into three main categories, each containing eight subcategories of Walk-In Step Vans.
A wheelchair-accessible van is a vehicle that has been modified by increasing the interior size of the vehicle and equipping it with a means of wheelchair entry, such as a wheelchair ramp or powered lift. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sets minimum accessibility standards for ADA Vans and those standards must be met.
Enterprise Services has entered into Cooperative Purchasing Agreements with the state of Alaska, Clear Creek County in Colorado, and the Town of Snowmass Village in Colorado. These agreements allow these purchasers to utilize the Contract. Before generating quotes and submitting purchase requests through the
Contract Automobile Request System (CARS), these purchasers must coordinate with the contractors.
