The contract is for purchase of new vehicles only; leased, used or trade-ins are not allowed on this contract. All purchased vehicles must be for official use only.

*** Catalytic Converter Marking RCW 46.70.350 is effective as of April 1, 2025. Dealers with vehicles with CC's are obligated to offer to mark CC upon purchase, unless exempt. Customers will be asked if they want their CCs marked when making a quote in CARS system. Answer be recorded in the quote as the dealers must record and save the answers. ***

***The operating budget that Governor Bob Ferguson signed on May 21, 2025, includes a proviso that orders the director of the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) to give written approval before any state agency as defined in RCW 43.19.560 can make a passenger vehicle purchase. See RCW 43.19.600 for more information including agency exemptions. Every state agency, unless exempt, needs to complete Passenger Vehicle Request Form, obtain their agency’s director’s signature and email the completed and signed form to DES Fleet Operations at vehicleapproval@des.wa.gov (See Step 2).***
