Contract Summary

This statewide Contract is for the routine maintenance and repair of generator equipment and systems. Services include: inspection and testing of emergency service generator systems, parts adjustment and replacement, corrective repair of improperly operating equipment, and off-hours emergency repairs.

This Contract is NOT intended to be used for installation, replacement, or removal of the entire equipment/system; or altering the equipment/system as it relates to its size, type, or capability; or breaking ground or any other work considered to be construction work. The DES Facility Professional Services (FPS) team provides state agencies with a wide range of professional architectural, engineering and public works contracting services. NOTE: This contract is established under RCW 39.26 and complies with RCW 39.12 for prevailing wage requirements for public work. It is not intended to meet the requirements of RCW 39.04, RCW 39.80 and RCW 18.43 for public works and engineering services. All purchasers must follow their particular jurisdiction’s laws, rules, and expectations for projects that may include any public works elements. Use of this Contract may be subject to collective bargaining and other requirements in accordance with RCW 41.06.142 and agreement provisions. Purchasers should consult with their labor relations representative before using this Contract.

NOTE: Prices for many services are flat rate pricing with Not To Exceed (NTE) limits and are the maximum amount Purchaser will be charged. Purchasers are encouraged to request a minimum of two (2) quotes (estimates) from Contractors for price comparison purposes. Tariff, fuel surcharges, and other additional fees are not allowed under the terms of this Contract. Return invoices with unauthorized fees to the Contractor for correction and notify the Contract Administrator.
