Contract Scope:
Eligible purchasers may use this Generator Maintenance contract for Generator equipment/systems they own or manage. Services include:
Preventive Maintenance
• Periodic inspections and testing of Emergency Service Generator Systems
• Includes adjustments and parts replacement per original specs
• Contractor and Purchaser to schedule intervals collaboratively
Services & Repairs:
• On-site corrective maintenance for improperly operating equipment
• Requires immediate response per manufacturer standards
• Emergency Repairs to prevent damage, injury, loss of life, and mission failure.
Restrictions:
This contract is established under
RCW 39.26 and complies with
RCW 39.12 for prevailing wage requirements as applicable to ordinary maintenance services. It is not intended to meet the requirements of
RCW 39.04,
RCW 39.80 and
RCW 18.43 for public works and engineering services. All purchasers must follow their particular jurisdiction’s laws, rules, and expectations for projects that may include any public works elements.

This contract is for routine preventive maintenance and repairs to restore a generator system to an already approved Public Works state. This contract does not allow for upgrades, overhauls, improvements to existing systems, or new system installs, nor does it cover new generator equipment/systems.
Please note use of this Contract may be subject to collective bargaining and/or other requirements in accordance with
RCW 41.06.142 and any applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions. DES recommends Purchasers consult with their labor relations representative if they are interested in using this Contract.

Olympic Region: Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, Pierce, Thurston Counties
Northwest Region: Island, King, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom Counties
Southwest Region: Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Lewis, Pacific, Skamania, Wahkiakum Counties
South Central Region: Asotin, Benton, Columbia, Franklin, Garfield, Kittitas, Walla Walla, Yakima Counties
North Central Region: Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Okanogan Counties
Eastern Region: Adams, Ferry, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens, Whitman Counties
How to Use this Contract:
1. Purchasers MUST reference the DES Contract No. #06225 on all communications, correspondence, quotes, purchase orders, etc. Doing so ensures the Statewide Agreement, and pricing should be honored, and any disputes can be properly addressed. Failure to do so may limit DES's ability to provide corrective actions.
2. Review the Contractor section below to find contact, pricing, product offerings, Contract, and Amendments for each Contractor.
3. Contact the sales representatives directly to consult about their products and services.
4. Reference DES Contract No. #06225 on your Agency's Purchase Order.

6. Be advised that prices for many services are flat rate pricing with Not To Exceed (NTE) limits. Vendors may negotiate lower prices; however, pricing will not be increased unless an EPA adjustment has been approved and authorized.
7. It is highly recommended that Purchasers seek two (2) quotes (estimates) when there are multiple Contractors to choose from among the awarded Contractors. Obtaining two (2) quotes (estimates) is a best practice to allow for comparison. Purchasers would not be subject to the Delegated Authority limits for these contracts for these quotes (estimates) as they are purchases from Enterprise Services approved contracts.
