Contract Summary

DES developing new solicitation for Plumbing Fixtures and Repair Parts: This contract is set to expire on June 30th, 2024, and Enterprise Services is developing a new solicitation to replace this contract. For information and updates on the new solicitation development please see contract 23623.

Enterprise Services notes there is a gap in service for plumbing repair parts and culverts and an expected gap on Plumbing Fixtures because work toward the next statewide contract could not be completed before the end of these contracts. To minimize impacts of this gap in coverage, DES suggests the following:

1. Review and consider the following contracts until a new contract is awarded, which is expected in early Fall:
01018 Facilities Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) & Industrial Supplies or
15222 Walk-In Building Supplies
Be advised, however, these contracts may have higher prices and less selection than the recently closed Plumbing Repair contract.

2. Alternatively, agencies may use their own procurement authority to purchase plumbing repair supplies.
