Plumbing Fixtures, Repair Parts, and Culverts
Contract Scope
Plumbing Fixture and Repair Parts, Contract #23623, will focus on both older, hard to find repair parts and brand new fixtures and the parts necessary to install them. It will also include culverts.
Enterprise Services notes there is a gap in service for plumbing repair parts because work toward the next statewide contract could not be completed before Contract #00417 expired on August 31, 2023. To minimize impacts of this gap in coverage, DES suggests the following:
1. Review and consider the
01118 Plumbing Fixtures and Supplies or
01018 Facilities Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) & Industrial Supplies or
15222 Walk-In Building Supplies
Be advised, however, these contracts may have higher prices and less selection than the recently closed Plumbing Repair contract.
2. Alternatively, agencies may use their own procurement authority to purchase plumbing repair supplies.

DES will ensure this procurement meets RCW 39.26, follow State of Washington Current Procurement Policies, follow DES procurement process, and DES will determine that entering into this master contract will be in the best interest of the State of Washington.
